A Kiosk is a presentation that runs automatically, over and over, usually without teacher verbal participation.
In a classroom a Kiosk is often used:
As an introduction to the beginning of the day/period with announcements, entry task, schedule, welcome to a new student, etc.
During Parent Night or similar event to display pictures of classroom life or student work
To display announcements or reminders
It is fairly easy to create a Kiosk. Here are the directions:

Access "View" > "Slide Sorter". The entire presentation is now visible.
Access the Slide Transition tool. Click on a slide and assign a timing of 4-10 seconds. Assign a transition effect (Fade/Dissolve) if desired. > Click on the "Apply to All Slides" option. Adjust the timing of individual slides as desired.
Access Slide Show > Setup Show. Select "Browsed as a Kiosk" and save your work.
That's it! Now when you "View the Show" it will run and run and run until the "Esc" key is pressed. No other key or mouse button will have any effect.
